 Team Member Advocate Awards

In addition to arranging a full day of meetings during RxImpact Day, we also take this time to recognize two advocates who have demonstrated a commitment to Walgreens and our federal advocacy efforts. In 2016, we recocginzed Rep. Brett Guthrue (R-KY) for his work surronding proveider statues as the Republican sponsor of H.R. 592 introducted into the House of Represenatiatives. We also recgonized RVP, Domenic DiPrimo for his commiment to supporting our legisatlive efforts and for providing opportunties for his team to particpate in various events including HLC In-Distrcit Legislators Meetings, store tours, and local health fairs.

2016 Award Recipients 

 Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.) receives the first Walgreens Pharmacy Champion Award for his work in sponsoring provider status legislation and his continuous support of Walgreens.

 Domenic DiPrimo, Regional Healthcare Director for the Philadelphia/New Jersey area (holding award),  was the recipient of the first Walgreens Advocate Award for his and his team's involvement with grassroots activities such as store tours and congressional in-district meetings.
